When are the UNF track meets?
UNF hosts three outdoor meets at the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville. In 2026 they were the River City Relays on March 19 and 20, the East Coast Relays on May 1 and 2, and the ASUN Outdoor Championships on May 14 to 16. North Florida posts its 2027 schedule each December.

UNF home meets at Hodges Stadium
- River City Relays (March 19-20, 2026). UNF's outdoor opener on its own track, the fourth straight year the Ospreys opened outdoors at home.
- East Coast Relays (May 1-2, 2026). The last regular-season meet of the year and, in UNF's words, one of the highlights of the schedule. The 2026 results list 54 college and club teams, from Florida, Miami, UCF and USF to Syracuse, West Virginia and three universities from Quebec. Results: TFRRS.
- ASUN Outdoor Championships (May 14-16, 2026). The conference meet, hosted at Hodges for the 16th time in 17 seasons.
Hodges is busy beyond UNF's own meets. The FHSAA high school state track championships ran there May 6-9, 2026, one class per day, and the Southeast Meet of Champions followed on May 22-23. Our Hodges Stadium venue guide has tickets, parking and the stadium's full meet calendar.
Where UNF races away from home
North Florida runs its whole regular indoor season in Gainesville at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center. In 2026 that was the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (January 16), the ACSEC Invitational (January 23-24) and the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic (February 6), before the ASUN Indoor Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 27-28.
Outdoors, the 2026 road trips were the UCF Black and Gold Challenge and the UCF Knights Invite in Orlando, the Raleigh Relays at NC State, the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville (April 3-4), the Dick Roberts Seminole Invite at Florida State (April 10-11), the Bryan Clay Invitational in California and the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta. The postseason starts at the NCAA East First Round, which UNF has reached with eight athletes over the last three seasons.
The UNF program
Jeff Pigg directs both cross country and track and field. At the 2025 ASUN Outdoor Championships, 20 Ospreys earned All-ASUN honors and five won conference titles. Smilla Kolbe became the first UNF athlete to earn First Team All-America honors both indoors and outdoors, in the women's 800, in 2025.
