Events and who runs it
The 2026 meet ran 15 events per gender: the 60, 200, 400, 800, mile and 3000 meters, the 60-meter hurdles, the 4x200 and 4x400 relays, the long jump, triple jump, pole vault, shot put and weight throw, and the pentathlon that gives the meet its second name. Teams on the 2026 results ranged from Florida high schools such as Berkeley Prep, Bolles, Wiregrass Ranch and The Villages to youth track clubs.
It is a high school and club meet, not a college one. College athletes opened the season a week earlier at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, and the season's high school title meet, the Florida High School Indoor Championships, came two weeks later on February 7, 2026.
