Week 6 Boys Top 10: Florida Cross Country Rankings
Axel Sallault won West Orange in 15:23.9, Quentin Thompson was the first Floridian at PR'ville in 15:32.7, Isaiah Howdeshell comes out of the ten after an injury, Jaxon Kiper goes to honorable mention after five weeks without a race, Fletcher Rodbro and Bryant Olson come in, and JP Strombeck's Bale-N-Trail win is not enough to pass the boys who have beaten him.

Weekend Recap: Strombeck and Hartley Win Bale-N-Trail, Gaona-Zelaya Runs 17:34, Muller Stays Unbeaten, and Osceola Sweeps Todd Howsare
Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26, meet by meet: JP Strombeck and Avery Hartley win the Elite races at Bale-N-Trail and Bolles takes the boys' title, Natalia Gaona-Zelaya runs 17:34.6 at the Stampede Sprint, Madison Muller wins Lakewood Ranch by 88 seconds, Axel Sallault wins West Orange, Osceola sweeps the Todd Howsare Memorial, and Arabella Duffell and Lake Minneola race in Huntsville.

Marcelo Mantecon of Belen Jesuit and Natalia Gaona-Zelaya of Wiregrass Ranch lead Florida's seniors. The top ten twelfth-grade boys and girls in the state.

Marcelo Mantecon ran 14:41.6 to win the Southern Showcase in Alabama with Armando Cruz and Jack Michalak behind him, Axel Sallault ran 15:05.9 at Hawks on the Hill, the fastest time on a Florida course this fall by anyone outside IMG Academy, and moves to third, Jack Michalak goes to fifth and Jaxon Kiper to ninth on judgment calls, and Fletcher Rodbro drops out of the ten after three Floridians beat him in Huntsville.

Weekend Recap: Sallault Runs 15:05 at Hawks on the Hill, Eudaly and Rivera Take North Port, Spanish River Names Its Course, and Belen Goes 1-2-3 in Alabama
Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19, meet by meet: Axel Sallault runs 15:05.9 at Hawks on the Hill with Quentin Thompson 23 seconds back, Katherine Eudaly takes 63 seconds off her best to win North Port in 17:37 and Luis Rivera beats three ranked 3A runners, and Spanish River's seniors win both Race of Champions titles on the course that now carries Rick Rothman's name. Madison Muller and Lyla Hallick win again, Vanguard scores 22 at Rockledge, Hagerty holds off Tavares, and a seventh grader wins the Bulldog. Then Florida on the road: Belen Jesuit goes 1-2-3 at the Southern Showcase, IMG Academy's girls win it with Niceville second, Bolles takes second and seventh at the adidas XC Challenge, and Nease puts five under 16:07 at Roy Griak. Updated Sunday with the Katie Caples Invitational, where Annabella Tomasic ran 17:24 and Bishop Moore beat Bishop Kenny by a point, and Running on the Range, where Drake Matyka handed RJ Destremps his first loss.

Week 4 Boys Top 10: Florida Cross Country Rankings
Corrected September 15: Quentin Thompson, second at Cecil Field ahead of Howdeshell, Olson and Sallault and third at the Horse Park, moves from fourteenth to fifth. Nobody in the top four raced, Isaiah Howdeshell won Seffner Christian by 15 seconds, and Bryant Olson's race was called off for lightning, so the top of the list stood still. Below it, Axel Sallault won Astronaut by 24 seconds, Reed Hagen and Dylan Macias-Buenrostro went one-two at Fort Myers on a course that ran a minute slow, and both are in the ten for the first time.
