What is Gold Timing?

Gold Timing is the short name runners use for Pure Gold Timing, a Lake Worth race timing company run by Pedro Gonzalez. It times high school and middle school cross country meets, track meets and road races across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, provides race clocks, live results and LED boards, and measures courses for USATF certification.

Pure Gold Timing, often shortened to Gold Timing or PG Timing, is one of the busiest timers in South Florida high school running. Its fall calendar is packed with BCAA and MSAA weekday meets in Broward, Palm Beach invitationals such as the Spanish River Invitational, and the Catholic school ACC and ABCC series in Miami-Dade and Broward.

Beyond the finish line, the company rents race clocks, live scrolling results monitors, LED boards, a PA system and crowd control fencing, consults on event direction, and measures courses to USA Track and Field standards for certification.
