Fifteenth at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota on September 19 in 15:13.2 out of 383, nine places ahead of his teammate Rishi Chopra. Twelfth at Cecil Field in 15:54.0. On Saturday he ran with Nease's pack in the Bale-N-Trail grade race, 18:57, and we do not count that kind of run. Eighth.

Fifteenth at the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minnesota in 15:13.2 out of 383, and Nease was third. Twelfth at Cecil Field in 15:54.0. Roy Griak is priced from Nease's own five, the same boys measuring their own improvement, and that is a thin reading; on it the run is worth about 16:08 at Cecil Field, a shade slower than his August race rather than a breakthrough. He beat Chopra by nine places on Saturday, which puts him above his teammate; Olson, Sallault and Thompson all beat him at Cecil Field. Eighth to seventh.

15:54.0 for 12th at Cecil Field. He ran the Buchholz JV race with Nease's August group at 19:47 on Saturday, a workout, and we do not count it for or against him. Ninth to eighth.

15:54.0 at Cecil Field behind teammate Chopra, and no race since. 25th in 4A at state in 16:19.7.

Twelfth at Cecil in 15:54, 25 seconds faster than the 16:19.7 that placed him 25th in 4A at state. He is 15 seconds behind Chopra and the second half of the best one-two in 4A.

Nease's shape matters here: Ishee, Gideon Churchill and Joseph Morley all converted inside 16:22, and Churchill improved 102 seconds on a 154th-place state finish. Ishee has more room in front of him than any runner on a contending team in this class.
