The first price tier for the 2027 Gasparilla Distance Classic ends September 30. Here is the full February 19-21 schedule, every price tier, and which races are sold out.
Gasparilla prices go up on Thursday, October 1. If you already know you are running Bayshore in February, registering by September 30 saves you $5.50 to $11 depending on the race. And if you were planning on one of the Michelob ULTRA Challenges, those are already sold out.

When do Gasparilla 2027 prices go up?
The first price tier for the 2027 Gasparilla Distance Classic ends September 30, 2026. Prices rise October 1, again December 1, and a final time January 9. The half marathon is $134.98 through September 30, then $145.98, $162.48 and $173.47. The last tier runs through February 14, 2027.

Race weekend is February 19-21, 2027 in Tampa.
- Friday, February 19: the Hot Diggity Dog Walk, for you and your dog
- Saturday, February 20: 15K run, and the 5K run, walk and stroller divisions
- Sunday, February 21: half marathon, and the 8K run and walk

Every standard entry includes a race shirt, timed bib, finisher's medal, finisher's towel, reusable bag and a virtual finisher's certificate.
Are the Michelob ULTRA Challenges sold out?
Yes. Every Michelob ULTRA Challenge option, the multi-race combos that stack Saturday and Sunday races, is sold out through regular registration. The only way in now is a charity bib, which comes with a $1,000 fundraising minimum for one of the race's charity partners. Challenge finishers also get a pullover hoodie on top of the standard race gear.
Which Gasparilla race should you run?
- First long race: the 15K on Saturday. It is 9.3 miles, long enough to feel like a real step up and short enough to train for in about ten weeks.
- Chasing a PR: the half on Sunday. The course runs along Bayshore Boulevard, which is flat and fast, and mid-February is usually one of the better weather windows in Tampa. Our half marathon pace chart will tell you what your goal means per mile.
- Bringing the family: the 5K or 8K, with stroller entries for kids 4 and under.
