The newcomer, and the tightest pack in Class 1A by twenty-five seconds. SWFC had three runners at the 2025 state meet — below the five-runner threshold — so they had no preseason team ranking at all. They were invisible. They are now sixth with a one-to-five gap of fifty seconds.

Two of their scorers are Pipers who did not run state, and a third Piper is their eighth man. Akers converted 30.2 seconds faster than his state time and Stratton 12.8 seconds slower. This is a real team that simply was not in the data in July.

Lemon Bay grades 23.6 seconds fast against Cecil Field, on a sample of eight boys, so their converted times carry more uncertainty than the Cecil-based teams above them. Even if you halved that correction, they stay sixth. A 0:50.8 spread scores well in any format and travels well to a state meet.

The other team that did not exist in July. Zero girls at the 2025 state meet, no preseason ranking, ninth in Class 1A now — and their boys did the same thing, ranking sixth on a fifty-second spread. Something is happening at that school.

Tobias and Wilkins ran within five seconds of each other at 20:30 and 20:35 converted, which is a top-ten 1A pair. Then a 2:07 gap, and a 4:08.8 spread that is the second-worst in this top ten. Lemon Bay grades within a second of Cecil Field for girls on a sample of seventeen, so their conversion is among the more trustworthy on this board even though the meet was small.

Fourth in the Class 1A scoring of the Spanish River Invitational with 135, behind Holy Trinity, Westminster Academy and Pine School: Ayla Tobias 19th in 20:22.8, Jayden Wilkins 37th in 21:51.3, then Emma Morrell, Ivy Flood and Reagan Mahoney from 25:15.7 to 30:15.3. Noelani Love, Julianna Idle and Shiloah Love, three of the scoring five on the season, ran the middle school 3k in Boca Raton instead. Fourth to tenth: the Fort Myers finish over Community School held only while neither team raced on a rated course, and once they ran Spanish River the season figures took over, and those have Community School 72 seconds a runner better.
