- Montverde Academy over Cardinal Gibbons: 5th and 16th at the flrunners.com Invitational, and they have not met since.
- Calvary Christian Academy over Cardinal Gibbons: 12th and 16th at the flrunners.com Invitational, and they have not met since.
- Carrollton over Episcopal: Carrollton over Episcopal matches the statewide list (Oct. 11): Episcopal won JAC with 43, but that is one race and Carrollton has not raced its full lineup since; the two have not met.
- Berkeley Prep over Ransom Everglades: Berkeley Prep did not race this weekend and holds its place: Ransom Everglades and Cardinal Newman raced at Snake Bite, but neither is clear of Berkeley's figure, and none of them has met.

How we ranked them
- Every mark is converted to a Cecil Field equivalent through the runners who ran both that course and last year's state meet.
- Each runner is scored on her whole season, weighted toward the most recent race: this week counts eight times, last week seven, and so on back to opening weekend, which counts once. A race she won never lowers that figure, and a meet a team won never lowers the team's. A school's five best runners on that basis are its team.
- Those five, with a sixth and seventh where they exist, go into one virtual race against every other Class 2A team, scored the way cross country is scored. 91 2A girls teams cleared the bar; 0 of them are projections. Points climb as more teams enter and are not comparable to last week's; compare the order.
- Where two teams in this class have raced each other with at least three of their scoring seven, the team that won ranks ahead of the team it beat until they meet again. Where results go round in a circle, the newest meeting decides. A race run without a team's No. 1 or without two of its scoring five is not held against it.
- Results from September 12 and earlier no longer order teams. The times still count in the figures.
- The FSU Pre-State Invitational, the biggest meet of the fall, was canceled for Hurricane Isaias. A team that did not race this weekend holds its place.
- A team whose returning five have not raced is entered on last November's state times and marked (P).
- Classes are 2026-27, resolved against the FHSAA classification documents.
- Manhattan is counted: times are converted from 2.5 miles to a 5K before the course is priced.
- Ransom Everglades over Cardinal Newman: Snake Bite on October 10 replaces the Class 2A scoring at Spanish River on September 18, where Newman won by three.
