1. Membership
The Florida Running Forum is a moderated community operated by Run Florida Run. Membership and posting are privileges, not rights: we reserve the right to approve, refuse, suspend, or remove any account or any post, at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or post.
2. Family-friendly community
This forum serves runners of all ages, including high school and middle school communities. Profanity, sexual content, harassment, bullying, and personal attacks are not allowed — anywhere, in any form. Content that violates this standard will be removed and may result in removal from the forum.
3. Your content and photos
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting text or uploading photos, you grant Run Florida Run a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display that content in Run Florida Run content — including this website, our newsletter, and our social media channels. Only upload photos you took or have the right to share, and don't upload photos of identifiable minors without a parent or guardian's permission.
4. No business spam
Promotional and commercial posting — advertising your business, product, service, race, or website — is not allowed unless you are a current sponsor of Run Florida Run. Sponsors enjoy promotional privileges as part of their sponsorship. Interested in sponsoring? See our advertising options. Organic conversation about races, gear, and stores is welcome; disguised self-promotion is not, and we make the call.
5. Public conversations
Everything posted here is public. The forum has no private messaging, and your email address is never displayed. Don't post personal information — yours or anyone else's.
6. Moderation
Posts may be automatically held for review before appearing. Moderators may remove posts, lock threads, or remove accounts that violate these terms. If you see something that shouldn't be here, use the Report button on the post.
7. The fine print
Posts reflect their authors' views, not Run Florida Run's, and we're not responsible for user content. These forum terms are in addition to our site-wide Terms and Privacy Policy. We may update these terms as the community grows; continued use of the forum means you accept the current version.
