Shave for the Brave - Children Battling Cancer

7th Annual Shave for the Brave Put down the razor this No-Shave November and start growing your beard for a cause!

Let your beard or mustache grow throughout November, then join us December 13th for the 7th Annual Shave for the Brave. The talented barbers from Proper Barber will be there to shave it all off—all while helping Live Like Cameron make Christmas a little brighter for local children battling cancer and their families.

For children going through cancer treatment, losing their hair is often something they don't get to choose. Shave for the Brave gives our community an opportunity to stand beside them in a fun and meaningful way while raising funds to support local childhood cancer families.

Don't have a beard? You can still be part of Shave for the Brave! Sponsor someone else's shave, become an individual or business sponsor, or make a general donation. Every shave and every donation helps us bring joy, comfort and hope to local childhood cancer families this Christmas.

Since our first Shave for the Brave in 2020, our incredible community has helped us raise nearly $270,000.

Each Christmas, we provide approximately 42 Christmas Bags of Hope to pediatric oncology patients and their siblings. These special bags include Christmas decorations to brighten their hospital rooms, comfort items for long hospital stays, and lots of fun presents to make Christmas morning special.

Over the first six years of Shave for the Brave, we have delivered approximately 252 Christmas Bags of Hope.

We also grant Christmas gift wishes for more than 40 local childhood cancer families every year in Flagler and Volusia Counties. When we support a family, we don't just provide gifts for the child battling cancer—we include all of their siblings as well.

Cancer affects the entire family. Our goal is to give parents one less thing to worry about and make sure every child in the family feels remembered and special at Christmas.

This year's Shave for the Brave will once again bring our community together for a full day of fun, fundraising and, of course, shaving!

EVENT SCHEDULE

12:00 PM — Cornhole Tournament Begins Kick off the day with our Cornhole Tournament!

1:00 PM — Santa Arrives Bring the kids out for some Christmas fun with Santa!

2:00 PM — Live Shavings Begin It's time to Shave for the Brave! Watch our participants take the chair as the barbers from Proper Barber shave those No-Shave November beards for a great cause.

6:00 PM — Raffle Drawings Stick around to see who takes home our raffle prizes!

Throughout the day, there will be plenty of fun, fundraising and opportunities to support Live Like Cameron.
