The biggest move by any 2A girl who raced, and the reason this list is not entirely a projection exercise. Lee was 79th in 2A at state in 20:56.4 as a freshman — 52nd on the returning list, nowhere near the top thirty — and she ran 19:54.0 for 35th in the Cecil Elite race. In November terms that is roughly 19:25, a 91-second jump — the largest by any girl in this class and one of the largest in the state.

She did it in the same race as Vignier and Stam, on the anchor course, with no conversion applied and none needed. It is one race, and August at Cecil rewards a summer of training more than November does. But it is the only hard evidence anybody in this class produced below the top four, and it is worth more than a 19:27 from last fall that nobody has been asked to run again.

Her next Edgewood teammate ran 21:30, so she is another one running alone.
