#10 — 4A Boys 2026 Week 1
Fourth at Jim Ryun in 16:41.3, converting to 16:03.1, against a state time of 16:13.0 that placed him 18th in 4A. That is a 10-second improvement, the smallest margin held by any ranked runner here, and it is enough only because the class thins out sharply below 16:05.
Steinbrenner ranks seventh as a team with a 1:26 spread, so Bronder is not carrying the program alone. He holds the last spot over three runners within two seconds of him.
