At the Horse Park he was 26th, behind Moss, Ghaffar, Rigdon and Chandler. Third on the newer result: he beat Ghaffar at Spanish River, and Ghaffar beat Rigdon and Chandler at the Horse Park.

Fifth in the Spanish River Race of Champions on Friday in 15:54.8 out of 199, one place and a second ahead of his teammate Ghaffar, on a course that reads about half a minute fast, worth about 16:23 at Cecil Field. Two weeks earlier he was 26th at the Horse Park in 16:28.3, behind Moss, Rigdon and Chandler. Ninth to third on Friday's result and the chain it starts: he beat Ghaffar, Ghaffar beat Rigdon at the Horse Park, Rigdon beat Chandler there. Chandler's Horse Park win over him is older than that chain, and the newer result decides.

Did not race the varsity five. 16:28.3 for 26th at the Horse Park in his only race, worth about 16:34. Gulliver's second man, four seconds behind the state time he ran last fall.

Tenth in 2A at state in 16:23.9, still unraced, and Gulliver Prep has still not raced a soul in two weeks. The note from week one has only gotten heavier: an entire top-ten program is sitting on last November while the class fills in around it.
