#10 — Middle School Girls 2026 Week 6 · 11:04.9 at the FLYRA state meet (seed)
Has not opened. Fourth in the public school race at state last November. Joly's projection is 0.3 seconds behind this seed, and a race beats a seed at a gap that small, which is why Joly is ninth.
Next up: Zoie Hart (Emerald Coast, 8th grade), who won the Panhandle pre-conference meet in 11:48.7 (11:14.6); Katelyn McIntyre (Nolan Middle School, 8th grade), who won Lakewood Ranch on Saturday in 11:29.5 out of 123 (her North Port run projects 11:16.8); Madelen Finch (No Excuses RC, 7th grade), third at Bale N Trail in 11:15.9 (11:17.0).
#10 — Middle School Girls 2026 Week 5 · 11:04.9 at the FLYRA state meet (seed)
Has not opened. Fourth in the public school race at state last November in 11:04.9 for Montford, and seeded on it. Zoie Hart, who has raced, is 8.4 seconds behind on figure; a raced mark within five seconds of a seed outranks it, and she is outside that window.
Next five: Zoie Hart (Emerald Coast, 8th grade) 11:13.3; Bailey Eggleston (Hillsborough Harriers, 8th grade) 11:15.8, second to Ilea at Running on the Range in 11:37.3; Madelen Finch (No Excuses RC, 7th grade) 11:22.4; Mia Emhoff (Emerald Coast, 7th grade) 11:23.6; Callie Skinner (Emerald Coast, 8th grade) 11:23.9.
#10 — Middle School Girls 2026 Week 4 · 11:04.9 at 2025 state, hasn't raced yet
Four weekends, no start, and the seed has not moved. Sarcos raced within two seconds of it and a race beats a seed. Fourth in the public race at state last fall. When she opens, the middle of this list rearranges.
Next five: Zoie Hart (Emerald Coast Middle School, 8th) 11:48.7 (11:14.2), on a thin course reading; Mia Kopcikova (Imagine Town Center, 8th) 11:40.6 at Indian River (11:24.3), ahead of Eggleston on the Horse Park finish; Bailey Eggleston (Hillsborough Harriers, 8th) 11:53.8 at Jim Ryun (11:16.2); Madelen Finch (No Excuses RC, 7th) 12:07.9 at Cecil Field (11:22.7); Mia Emhoff (Emerald Coast Middle School, 7th) 11:59.0 (11:24.5).
Also worth knowing from week four: Zoie Hart (Emerald Coast Middle School, 8th) drops from tenth to eleventh without racing as Alvarez goes in above her. Red Sea won the Nights of Thunder team race with 22 on Ilea, Alvarez and Kayla Santos. Alexis Theuerkauf (YMCA Camp Cristina) won the Seffner Christian girls' 3K in 12:35.5, worth about 11:51 on a slow course, over Layne Schiebel of the Httr Tornadoes, and VCMS won the team race 73 to the Tornadoes' 82. Emmy Orr (Viera Charter) won the Autobahn Athletics twilight 3K in 13:54.8. Paula Webb (Donahue Academy) won the SAC middle school race in 12:01.1 by 45 seconds, the same morning her sister Joanie won the Fort Myers XC Invite varsity race; their parents are Alan and Julia Webb. Addison Lessard (Harmony Middle School) led her sisters Lacey and Brooklynn to a 1-2-3 in the JT Memorial two-mile. Victoria Kuffer (Pineview) won the Davidson two-mile, Aubrey Sunseri (Lecanto Middle School) won at Inverness in 13:00.7, Georgia Goodman (Swift Creek) won the Mustang Run in 12:46.8, and Andie Allison (Pinecrest Lakes Academy) led a 1-2-3 in the GFAC two-mile.
#8 — Middle School Girls 2026 Week 3 · 11:04.9 at 2025 state, hasn't raced yet
Montford's front runner has now missed three weekends, and the seed has not moved. Underwood and Hart both raced within a few seconds of it and a race beats a seed, which is the only reason she is eighth instead of sixth. Fourth in the public race at state last fall. When she opens, this whole middle of the list rearranges.
#7 — Middle School Girls 2026 Week 2 · 11:04.9 at 2025 state, hasn't raced yet
Montford's front runner has now missed both the Wolves Run and the weekend after it, and her team is still ranked fifth. When she steps in, their ceiling moves.
#7 — Middle School Girls 2026 Week 1 · 11:04.9 state-equivalent (P)
Montford's front-runner hasn't opened yet, but her squad ran the Wolves Run without her and still put five scorers on the team board. When she steps in, Montford's ceiling moves.
