Think Pink Run Red - North Broward County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Think Pink Run Red is a Walk/Run to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. 

This event will take place at the Pompano Beach Air Park behind the Pompano Fire Station.  On-Site Registration and Packet Pick Up will begin at 6:15 a.m. and the race will start at 7:00 a.m.  

Come out and enjoy a great morning in honor or memory of a loved one who has been impacted by breast cancer.  Our morning stretch will be led by Kamko Dance Life.  They are an amazing duo who provide professional dance and fitness training for all ages.  After crossing the finish line, you can continue enjoying Kamko Dance Life and learn the latest line dances.  DJ Big Man Kelly will also be present to keep everyone grooving.

We are honored to have Dr. Margaret Thompson join us as our guest speaker.  Dr. Thompson is a Breast Cancer Surgical Oncologist at Cleveland Clinic.  She will provide breast cancer awareness information and tips for all attendees.

The event will conclude with the awards presentation.  We will award the top overall winner with a trophy.  There will also be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for the remaining participants based on age categories.  

We look forward to seeing everyone and know that you will have a great time celebrating and remembering the many brave souls who have fought and continue to fight on a daily basis.

Proceeds will be donated to a cancer research organization who is currently providing services, support and resources to numerous breast cancer patients.  The donation is being made locally to ensure our community benefits from the services offered.
