**January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month! **
Join us for the 4th Annual **Light the Darkness 5K **working to put an **END to Human Exploitation **one step at a time! Our mission is to ignite an army towards prevention, response, and recovery initiatives, which include, raising awareness, education, engagement, and advocacy.
This is an evening out and back BEACH race that will start on the beach in front of **LORI WILSON PARK! **This is our official launch of our 2027 Get Outdoors for Freedom Series. If you love the outdoors and want to contribute to the solution in ending human exploitation and trafficking, you can walk, run, hike or golf....All for the Freedom of others!
There will be a race village with vendors and a food truck starting at 3:45 pm!

3:45 PM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens 5:15 PM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Closes
5:25 PM - National Anthem
5:30 PM - 5K Start!
7:00 PM -Music, Beverages, Vendors, Raffle Giveaways and Prizes !
**Head Lamps, Neon & lighted apparel and accessories are necessary! **
**We are upping are game on our Light Award, we will have more than 1!
*** PRIZEs for runners with the best Glow Lights! *** **
AWARDS
Awards will be given to: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female, master male and female. No age group awards will be given.
Prizes and awards for best lighted participants! So Come Festive!!
Fees
$30 - Register Before midnight on 12/15
$35 - Register after midnight on 12/16-01/07
$40 - Register after midnight on 01/08 - Race Day

Finisher medals to all participants.
One FREE raffle ticket. Dozens of fabulous and festive raffle prizes. BEST LIGHT AWARDs, so dress festive!
One FREE drink ticket and additional post race refreshments available.
Unisex short-sleeve shirt. **EARLY REGISTRANTS have option for a limited time to order a tank top option! **
Finisher patch available for add on.
Vendors
**We are adding vendors this year with our new location! **Each vendor will receive a 10x10 spot in our Race Village. Vendors are required to have their own lighting (solar lights are not bright enough), tent and generator if power is needed.

Parking for the Event
Parking for the event is at Lori Wilson Park, both lots first come basis. Overflow parking will be in the Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness, 1355 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach.
