The projection is still the best one in the class by a real margin, and the reason is the spread. Three of the five are seniors.
The honest caveat is the one the method forces: Pensacola Christian gets no credit for a summer, and neither is it charged for one. Maclay beat this projection on the course that sets the baseline while actually running. If Pensacola Christian opens in September within twenty seconds of these marks, they are the clear favorite. If they open thirty seconds off, they are third.
