Won the girls' 5K at the MIA Invitational on Saturday in 21:23.3. A freshman; won Lehigh and the Fort Myers Invitational earlier in the season.

Did not race. Won the Fort Myers XC Invite on September 12 in 20:07.5 out of 205, ahead of Emily Del Mazo, on a course that reads slow, worth about 19:25 at Cecil Field. Won Lehigh in August. Two races, two wins, as a freshman. Fourth.

Did not race. Two starts, two wins: Lehigh on opening weekend in 19:42.8, which is not counted, and the Fort Myers XC Invite in 20:07.5 out of 205, 30 seconds ahead of Emily Del Mazo, on a course that runs slow; that run is worth about 19:25 at Cecil Field. Del Mazo is the only girl on this list she has met, and she beat her. A freshman, and fifth to fourth as Akella slipped behind her.

Won the Fort Myers XC Invite out of 205 in 20:07.5, 30 seconds ahead of Emily Del Mazo, on a course that ran about 40 seconds slow by the girls who have also run state; leveled, that is about 19:25. Her Lehigh win in 19:42.8 on opening weekend is not held against her. Two races, two wins, and a freshman goes from tenth to fifth. Her parents are Alan Webb, who held the American mile record for 16 years, and Julia Webb, a national steeplechase champion, and both coach at Ave Maria University.

19:42.8 at Lehigh on opening weekend, a fast course, and nothing since. A freshman with no state history, tenth on one race.

Her week-one win at the Lehigh Invite, worth about 19:55 leveled, keeps the last spot. She did not race in week two. A freshman who wins her first high school race by fifteen seconds does not need to do anything else in August, and with Roy and Del Mazo-Collado arriving below her age bracket, the youth movement in this class now runs three grades deep.

The only genuinely new name in the class. Webb won the Lehigh Senior High Invite out of a 203-runner field in 19:42.8, 15 seconds clear of Madison Easton, in her first high school race. Lehigh graded 12.3 seconds fast against Cecil off a sample of 28, which puts her at 19:55 Cecil-equivalent.

There is no state history to check her against and no second data point, which is why she is seventh instead of higher. A freshman who wins a two-hundred-girl race by fifteen seconds in August is usually not finished improving in October.
