About This Event
Our focus UMATILLA SCHOOLS - Umatilla Elementary, Umatilla Middle, Umatilla High, Altoona Charter and Spring Creek. The Kiwanis Club raises funds to help fund school projects and several scholarships to graduating Seniors. So, we have decided to Honor our Teachers and Students with a LOW participation FEE. For all current teachers that sign up as a TEAM the fee is $20. For all students, the fee is $20. This IS the 12th Annual Umatilla Kiwanis 5K for the Kids, Running/walking, to raise funds for the Kids of North Lake County. Start time of Race November 14, 2026, is 7:30 A.M. The race starts at Cadwell Park and goes through Beautiful Umatilla on our USATF Certified course; FL19064TY. More now than ever get out there and run, walk, dance through the streets of Umatilla! Runners will get snacks after the race as well as a chance to win one of several raffle prizes
Our race follows CDC guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html) protect yourself, social distance but still live your life to the fullest and help OUR Community.
Our Kiwanis club supports programs such as; College Scholarships, Back-to-School Clothing, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Science Fairs, Boys and Girls Club Support, Holiday Meals for Disadvantage Families, Christmas Gifts, just to name a few! Help us Support our Kids.
