The front three are the best projected trio in the class after Indian Rocks — three girls inside 20:42 — and then it falls apart: a 1:45 gap to Bell and another 1:39 to Simmons, for a 4:12.9 spread that is the worst in this top ten by more than fifty seconds.
Projections flatter teams shaped like this, because the fourth and fifth runners are frozen at their November form while everyone who raced had to prove it in August heat. Read Oak Hall's fifth place as a ceiling.
