#2 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 8

Did not race. Won the Stampede Sprint on September 26 in 17:34.6, five starts and five wins. Third statewide.

#3 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 8

Did not race. Won the Stampede Sprint in 17:34.6 on September 26, five starts and five wins. She has beaten Tomasic, Hallick and Mercer this season and has lost to nobody.

#2 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 7

Did not race. Won the Stampede Sprint on September 26 in 17:34.6, five starts and five wins. Third statewide.

#3 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 7

Did not race. Won the Stampede Sprint in 17:34.6 on September 26, five starts and five wins. She has beaten Tomasic, Hallick and Mercer this season and has lost to nobody.

#2 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 6

Won the Stampede Sprint on Saturday in 17:34.6 out of 142, ahead of Emma Poekert of Cypress Creek 3A. Five races, five wins, including the Horse Park in 18:03.8 and Astronaut. Second.

#3 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 6

Won the Stampede Sprint in 17:34.6 out of 122, 86 seconds ahead of Emma Poekert of Cypress Creek, the fastest time of her season. Five starts, five wins. The course ran fast, so the win does not count against her and her Astronaut run still ranks her. She has beaten Tomasic, Hallick, Summers and Mercer this season and lost to nobody.

#2 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 5

Did not race. Four starts, four wins: Ragin' Storm, Whispering Pines, the Horse Park out of 411 in 18:03.8, and Astronaut in 18:22.4 by 47 seconds on a course that reads slow, worth about 17:41 at Cecil Field. The three earlier wins are listed and not counted, because a win never lowers a figure. Second, a second and change behind Muller on the season, and she has beaten Tomasic, Hallick and Mercer of 3A and McMenemy-Hoang and Lewis on this list without losing to anyone.

#3 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 5

Did not race. Four starts, four wins, the last of them Astronaut in 18:22.4 by 47 seconds, worth 17:41 leveled. Sits third on that figure; she has beaten Tomasic, Hallick, Summers and Mercer this season and lost to nobody.

#2 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 4

Won the Astronaut Invitational in 18:22.4 by 47 seconds, her fourth win in four starts, on a course that reads about 40 seconds slow; leveled, about 17:41. Ragin' Storm, Whispering Pines, the Horse Park out of 411, and Saturday. Third to second, past Duffell, and 1.3 seconds behind Muller on the season.

#3 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 4

Won Astronaut in 18:22.4 by 47 seconds over Eva McMenemy-Hoang, with Selah Vignier, the 2A champion, third and 69 seconds back. Four wins: Ragin' Storm in 18:40.3, Whispering Pines in 18:08.8, the Horse Park in 18:03.8 out of 411, Astronaut on Saturday. The Astronaut course reads slow, so this is the run that ranks her, worth about 17:41, and it moves her from fourth to third. She has still not raced Muller, Balaban or Duffell. Until she does, she is doing everything a third can do.

#3 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 3

Won the Horse Park in 18:03.8, 19 seconds clear of Hallick, 25 clear of Tomasic and 37 clear of Mercer. Three races, at Ragin' Storm, Whispering Pines and the Horse Park, each better than the last. Third in 4A at state in 18:06.9. She has done more racing, and more winning, than anybody in this class but Muller.

#4 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 3

The win of the weekend, on the deepest start line the girls have had. Gaona-Zelaya won the Horse Park out of 411 in 18:03.8, 19 seconds clear of Hallick, 25 clear of Tomasic and 37 clear of Mercer. Three of the girls ranked around her, beaten in one race on a fair course. She has raced three times, at Ragin' Storm, Whispering Pines and the Horse Park, and each one was better than the last. Her 18:06.9 from state was already a top-four returning mark. She has done more racing, and more winning, than anyone above her.

#3 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 2

The only girl in Florida who keeps beating ranked runners in person. Gaona-Zelaya won the Whispering Pines Invitational in 18:08.8, putting clear daylight on Lyla Hallick, Lydia Vincent and Mary Summers, three girls who populate the top of the 3A and 1A lists, all in the same race. Add the week-one win at Ragin' Storm, worth about 18:05 leveled, and she has two wins on two courses with zero bad days.

Wiregrass Ranch is entered at the Florida Horse Park on Saturday, where she is the highest-ranked girl in the field other than Annabella Tomasic herself. Two state champions sit above her on this page; nobody above her has beaten more good runners this month.

#4 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 2

The only girl in Florida who has beaten a meaningful number of ranked runners, and she did it on Saturday. Gaona-Zelaya won the Whispering Pines Invitational out of 154 in 18:08.8, ahead of Lyla Hallick by 16.6 seconds, Lydia Vincent by 25.3 and Mary Summers by 30.4 — three of the four girls immediately behind her on this list, all in the same race, all beaten clearly.

She also won the Ragin' Storm XC Challenge in 18:40.3 in week one, worth 18:05.1 adjusted, level with the 18:06.9 she ran for third in 4A at state. Two wins, two courses, no bad race. Wiregrass Ranch is entered at the Horse Park.

#2 — 4A Girls 2026 Week 1

Third in 4A at state in 18:06.9 and the most reliable runner in this class over two seasons. She won the Ragin' Storm XC Challenge in 18:40.3, 31 seconds clear of Lainee Mercer of Springstead, on a course that graded 35.2 seconds slow off a sample of 23. That prices her opener at 18:05.1 Cecil-equivalent, or about 17:36 in November terms.

That is a 31-second improvement on a state mark that was already the second-fastest returning time in 4A, and it came against real company rather than in a time trial. She is behind Duffell and nobody else.

#5 — Overall Girls 2026 Week 1

Third at state in 18:06.9, third-fastest returning time in Florida, and she won the Ragin' Storm XC Challenge in 18:40.3. That course took 34.8 seconds off the returners who ran it, which prices her opener at roughly 18:06 Cecil-equivalent, dead level with what she ran in November. She also put 31 seconds on Lainee Mercer, who had finished within nine seconds of her at state. Nothing flashy, nothing lost.
