Second at Spikes and Spurs in 16:04.9 in August, eleventh at the Horse Park in 16:02.8, where he beat Aguilar, Ilea and Michalak. Eighth to seventh: Harris beat him on Saturday, Kiros beat him at the Horse Park, and he has beaten every boy below him that he has met.

Ponte Vedra ranks fourth in 3A and 12th in the state, and the honest read of that team is Ross and then a 1:23 wait for the second scorer — which makes him the most important individual runner to any 3A team's chances other than Belen's.
