The course reads about half a minute fast, so the run is worth about 16:46 at Cecil Field. Fourth at King of the Hill in 17:14.4 out of 339 on a course that reads slow, sixth at Pine Crest in 16:37.1, one place behind Francis. A sophomore with three races inside 16:47 leveled. Seventh to ninth, behind Francis on Pine Crest and behind Kirwan on figure; the two have not met.
