Run, walk, bike, or swim your way to 13.1 miles and help local teens discover just how much they’re capable of achieving.
The Marathon High Virtual Half-Marathon benefits Marathon High, a free 16-week running and mentoring program empowering high school students across Northeast Florida to build confidence, resilience, healthy habits, and a sense of belonging.
Many Marathon High students don’t consider themselves runners, or even athletes, when they join us. But with the encouragement of dedicated coaches, adult running buddies, and teammates, they take on a goal that once may have seemed impossible: completing a half marathon.
Along the way, they learn that the finish line is about so much more than 13.1 miles. They learn to persevere when things get hard, set and work toward goals, support one another, and believe in themselves.
Marathon High is provided completely free to students and their families. We remove financial barriers by providing the resources students need to participate safely and successfully, including training support, hydration and nutrition, running equipment, mentorship, and race participation.
That’s where your miles come in.
When you participate in the Marathon High Virtual Half-Marathon, you’re helping make those opportunities possible for another student.
