EE Exceptional Superhero 5K

"Every Hero Has a Purpose. Every Step Makes a Difference."  EE Exceptional Superhero 5K isn’t just a race, it’s a mission! This timed family-friendly race and fun run raises funds to host Cape Coral Night to Shine events and expand the Grace Church Exceptional Entrepreneurs program, while shining a spotlight on the needs of Lee County’s special needs population as they age out of the school system.

By joining the Superhero 5K, you’re not just running or walking, you’re helping create memories and opportunities that last a lifetime.

This Halloween-themed Superhero 5K will include fun for all ages! Come dressed in your best superhero or family-friendly Halloween costume and join the excitement with a costume contest, pet costume contest, stroller decoration contest, candy stations along the race route, games, and family fun after the race. Whether you run, walk, stroll, or cheer from the sidelines, there is something for every hero!

We're excited to add a family-friendly 1-Mile Boo Run & Treat Trail to the EE Exceptional Superhero 5K!

This non-timed fun run is perfect for families, children, grandparents, and anyone looking for a fun way to get moving together. Along the route, you'll discover treats around every turn, festive Halloween fun, and plenty of smiles!

Wear your favorite family-friendly costume (optional), enjoy the adventure, and make lasting memories while supporting an amazing cause.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM Cash is not accepted. Please use a credit card or Apple Pay.

RACE START TIME: 8:00 AM

AWARDS: Awards will be presented immediately following the race to the Overall Male Winner and Overall Female Winner.

COSTUME CONTESTS & FAMILY FUN:

Superhero Costume Contest Family-Friendly, Non-Scary Halloween Costume Contest Pet Costume Contest Stroller Decoration Contest Candy Stations Along the Race Route Games and Activities After the Race Family-Friendly Fun for All Ages Dogs and strollers are welcome and must start at the back of the race for safety purposes. Dogs must be leashed and up to date on vaccinations.

RACE SHIRT: Race shirt included with registration. Shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by October 5, 2026.
